Lifeline Heritage Builders

East Cooper Baptist in Mt Pleasant is excited to announce that we are launching a new program called Heritage Builders that was created by Lifeline Children's Services to be used by local churches to serve teens in the foster system. It is a life skills class that is designed to meet monthly for 6 months including six full life skills lessons to address the major risk factors youth living in foster care as they prepare to transition to independence. They include: money management, healthy relationships, job and education next steps, self-care, daily living, and navigating available resources. The class is for youth (ages 13-21) in the foster system to help equip them if/before they age out.

It is hosted on the second Thursday of each month from 6-7:30pm and supper is provided!
